Based on the common values of authenticity, purity and love for nature, a special and exclusive partnership is born between two gems of El Hierro: Puntagrande Restaurant and Acenci Winery, a combination which represents the excellence of the hospitality sector and the local production on the little island of El Hierro.
We have acquired the entire 2019 production of Acenci Winery, so that this fine wine will be exclusively served at the Restaurante Puntagrande, one more reasons for wine lovers to dine in the exclusive venue of the Hotel Restaurante Puntagrande, which has been recently declared “Bien de Interés Cultural” (a site of cultural interest) by the Canary Islands Government.
Founded in 2012, Acenci is a small “author” winery which produces one of the finest and most prestigious wines in El Hierro. Its vineyard has a capacity of 1,300 liters and a grape of extraordinary character which reflects the typical terroir of the island, with a precious harmony in taste.
Alejandro Carlos Déniz Betancor produces young varietals: Negramoll, Verijadiego Negro and Tinto Baboso, the latter being his signature wine.
